Ethical Ingredients
Ethical Ingredients
Only the good stuff
Our ingredients are good for you, the planet, and our producers.
A bias for natural
We believe natural ingredients are the best option. We will only use a synthetic ingredient if the science shows it is better for you, the environment, and people producing it than the natural alternative.
Fair for farmers
We believe our raw material suppliers should be able to make a comfortable living and should not have to risk their health. We source from organic farms and profit share with producers to ensure they receive a fair deal.
Sourced in Canada
Local sourcing lowers our environmental impact and allows us to secure the highest quality raw materials and ingredients. We work directly with local Canadian producers who operate sustainable organic farms and forests.

Luxury is a feeling
We obsess about delivering experiences that leave you with that euphoric feeling.
A labor of luxury
Luxury is a feeling. It is an emotion evoked by quality, exclusivity, desirability and beauty. Giving you this feeling is our obsession. We’ve designed our product, packing, and production to ensure you can guiltlessly indulge in deliciously delightful maple experiences.
#MapleMoments
We create more than just a luxury skincare, we craft luxurious and immersive experiences. Feel the soothing tingle of maple mineral mud on your skin or the glossy smoothness of a maple wood jar in your hands. Enjoy the sweet aroma of maple and the rich maple taste on your tongue as you are transported, for a moment, deep into a mysteriously thrilling and alluring forest.
Nature is luxurious
"I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in tune once more.”
– John Burroughs
Sadly, nature is not accessible to everyone. That's why we have created a collection of products made with natural, luxurious materials and sensations, so that you can experience the wonders of nature wherever you may be.
Evidence Based
Science Based
Provable performance
An uncompromising commitment to formulations that demonstrably enrich skin.
Deliver real benefits
We dive deep into the science of maple to ensure you get maximum results. Research on maple extracts date back to at least 1911, and more recent studies have identified a variety of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, sugars and natural acids. A comprehensive understanding of components in the maple extract enables us to optimize our formulations for your skin.
Iterate, iterate, iterate
We are committed to continuous improvement. We are always open to learning and finding ways to improve our products. Whenever evidence points to a better way to improve our products, production, or packaging, we take action. You can have confidence that you are always getting the best quality products from us.
Incorporating your feedback
Our wood jars are 100% plastic-free, helping to reduce the environmental impact of plastic waste. We believe that brands like ours have a responsibility to create products that are not damaging to the planet. We want to make sure the burden of properly disposing our products is not placed on you.
Sustainable Production
Sustainably Produced
Guilt-free gorgeousness
We work hard to make our products truly sustainable so you can just enjoy them.
Sustainable Sourcing
We carefully select ingredients and raw materials that are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Maple Tree Mineral Mud is organic and sourced locally from family-run forests without harming the trees. Our wooden jars are handcrafted by local artisans using wood from nearby sustainable forests.
Carbon neutral shipping
We work with local farmers and landowners to plant a Maple tree for every order. This offsets carbon from shipping and helps ensure that future generations will continue to enjoy the natural gifts of the maple tree.
Plastic-free packaging
We offer 100% plastic-free packaging options. Plastics are terrible for the environment and only 9% of recyclable plastics ever get recycled. We believe the burden of environmentally friendly disposal should not be put onto the consumer. It is incumbent on brands like us to design products that are not harmful to the planet.
